Are you an avid soccer fan or player? Join Redmond Mayor Angela Birney and Reign FC legend Lauren “Lu” Barnes to hear about women’s sports and other topics as we celebrate Women’s History Month on Monday, March 23. Barnes is a former captain for Reign FC who played for the team from 2013 - 2025 before retiring. The event will take place from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Seattle Marriott Redmond (7401 164th Avenue NE). Light snacks and refreshments will be provided, along with prize drawings.

This event, part of the City’s Fútbol for All Speaker Series, is presented in partnership with Amazon and the Port of Seattle. It is a community program designed to celebrate the world’s game and prepare residents for the excitement of World Cup 2026.
