FIFA Club World Cup Coming to Seattle

SeattleFWC26 is excited that Seattle and Lumen Field have been selected as a host venue for the inaugural edition of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup in 2025– especially as we prepare to welcome the world to Seattle in 2026. While the local organizing committee has no formal role in this tournament– which will include club teams such as Sounders FC, Real Madrid, and Liverpool, as opposed to national teams– we will be supportive of our partners at FIFA, First and Goal, Inc. (operators of Lumen Field) and the Sounders FC in every phase. 

That Seattle will host top-level clubs in this newly formatted tournament is further validation of Seattle’s role as a world-class soccer destination. As fans of these teams come to Seattle, we will be prepared to welcome them and learn from their experiences as we build toward the FIFA World Cup in 2026!
