SeattleFWC26’s Small Business Readiness Initiative is about ensuring that every neighborhood, business, and community has the opportunity to participate in—and profit from—the world’s biggest sporting event.

From Capitol Hill to SODO, from Spokane to the coast, this program helps extend the benefits of the World Cup far beyond the stadium—creating a legacy of connection, creativity, and community resilience.

Seattle Metropolitan Chamber

The Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is the largest and most influential business organization in the Puget Sound region, representing thousands of employers across industries and sizes. Its mission is to create a thriving, equitable, and globally competitive economy that benefits everyone in the greater Seattle area. The Chamber advocates for business-friendly policies, inclusive economic growth, and regional collaboration, offering members tools and resources to navigate workforce, infrastructure, and sustainability challenges.

Alliance for Pioneer Square

The Alliance for Pioneer Square is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring the vitality, economic stability, and historic character of Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood. The Alliance supports local businesses, manages neighborhood improvements, and advocates for public safety, transportation access, and preservation of Seattle’s first neighborhood.

SODO BIA

The SODO BIA represents over 300 property owners and hundreds of businesses within Seattle’s SODO district. It works to make the neighborhood a safe, clean, and thriving industrial and commercial hub through initiatives in safety, mobility, marketing, and economic development.

CID Small Business Relief Team (SBRT)

The CID Small Business Relief Team (SBRT) is a collaborative of community-based organizations and neighborhood advocates formed to support small businesses in the Chinatown–International District. The team offers technical assistance, language access, financial recovery, and cultural preservation resources to help local businesses thrive amid major changes and challenges.

GSBA (Greater Seattle Business Association)

The GSBA (Greater Seattle Business Association) is the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ and allied chamber of commerce, representing over 1,300 small businesses, nonprofits, and corporate partners across Washington State. Founded in 1981, GSBA works to build equitable, inclusive, and prosperous communities through business development, advocacy, and education.

Central Area Collaborative (CAC)

The Central Area Collaborative (CAC) is a community-based nonprofit working to ensure that Seattle’s Central District remains a place where Black-owned businesses and long-time residents can thrive.CAC strengthens the neighborhood through economic development, cultural preservation, and small business support, working alongside local entrepreneurs and partners to sustain the area’s historic identity as the heart of Seattle’s Black community.

Intentionalist

Intentionalist is a Seattle-based social enterprise dedicated to making it easier to find and support diverse local businesses—including those owned by women, people of color, veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and people with disabilities. Through its online platform and storytelling campaigns, Intentionalist encourages consumers to spend intentionally by highlighting the people and values behind small businesses. Its programs, such as Amplify, celebrate community, inclusion, and economic equity.
