Building a Lasting Legacy

Our commitment extends beyond the final whistle. We're focused on creating a legacy that will benefit our region for generations to come:

Accessibility

By increasing linguistic, physical, and sensory accessibility, we will ensure soccer and FIFA World Cup experiences are more accessible across WA.

Human Rights

We are delivering a FIFA World Cup experience and legacy that promotes safety and inclusion, values and advances workers’ rights, and provides access to remedy if problems arise.

Sustainability

By promoting zero waste and zero emission strategies, we are cementing Seattle’s reputation as the greenest city in the United States. We will succeed by leveraging Lumen Field’s environmental expertise and incorporating Indigenous guidance.

Children

We are inspiring a generation of Washington children to play, understand, and love soccer; to believe they belong in callings and professions of consequence; and to carry with them a core belief and indelible memory that large and diverse groups of people can overcome differences to unify, celebrate, and share joy.

Community

We will exemplify what a mega event can be by working with and benefiting local communities who will be most affected.

Culture

We are showcasing Washington’s rich and diverse peoples, arts, history, and heritage for the world so that new visitors and life-long residents deepen their understanding of why our welcoming and inclusive culture makes us stronger.
