Finalists Announced for the Pride Match Design Contest

Announcement
November 10, 2025

SeattleFWC26 is proud to announce the finalists for the Pride Match Design Contest, celebrating creativity, inclusion, and the vibrant spirit of Seattle’s LGBTQ+ community. Three outstanding local artists were selected for their original poster designs capturing the themes of unity, pride, and the power of sport to bring people together.

The finalist's artwork will be incorporated into SeattleFWC26's citywide celebration as our region prepares to host the world's largest sporting event, becoming a lasting symbol of Seattle’s commitment to inclusion and pride.

Join us in celebrating these incredible artists who remind us that in Seattle, every color, every identity, and every fan belongs. Through their designs, we celebrate a legacy of inclusion and pride that reaches far beyond the pitch.

Meet the Finalists

Kelly Bjork (They/Them)

Tacoma-born and Seattle-based, Kelly Bjork is a queer artist whose work explores tenderness, joy, and the intimacy of everyday life. A graduate of Western Washington University, Bjork has exhibited nationally and internationally, with features in New American Paintings, The Washington Post, and McSweeney’s. Their work has appeared in major mural and residency projects, including Facebook’s Artist in Residence program and Seattle’s Hillman City mural initiative.

For their Pride Match design, Bjork envisioned a vertical layering of diverse figures supporting one another as a soccer ball rises through the composition—a visual metaphor for solidarity, inclusion, and the shared love of the game.

Shayla Hufana (She/Her)

Shayla Hufana is a Filipina-American visual artist and multidisciplinary designer from Seattle. Founder of ConceptShell, she creates dynamic designs and public art that amplify diverse voices and celebrate cultural connection. Her work has been featured in Times Square, by Graphic Design USA, and most recently with the Seattle Kraken as their 2024–2025 Lunar New Year Jersey Artist.

Her Pride Match piece, Fly Together, is a joyful celebration of pride and community—featuring an orca rising from the Salish Sea, a warm sun, and a rainbow stretching across the skyline, with salmon swimming through the water to symbolize strength and resilience. Together, these symbols reflect the unity that connects Washington’s people, nature, and sport.

Sharon Blyth-Moss (She/Her)

Originally from Burntwood, England, Sharon Blyth-Moss  has called Seattle home for more than 25 years. A lifelong creative and co-owner of a Central District café-and-salon community hub, Blyth-Moss rediscovered her passion for art during the COVID-19 lockdown and now merges her background in graphic design with her love of storytelling.

Her Pride Match design blends powerful symbols of Washington with the strength, resilience, and joy of Seattle’s queer community—including Mount Rainier, a Dungeness crab clutching a ferry, cedar branches honoring Indigenous heritage, and a steaming cup of coffee representing Seattle’s creative, communal spirit.
