Grow the Game
Building a Legacy of Inclusion & Innovation
From adaptive sports and accessibility technology to inclusive fan experiences, SeattleFWC26 is creating new pathways for participation. Partnerships with organizations like USABA, OneCourt, and the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology ensure that people of all abilities can experience the world’s game—on and off the field.
Growing the Game for Indigenous Youth
In collaboration with the RAVE Foundation, and Tribal Nations across Washington, SeattleFWC26 is expanding access to soccer for Indigenous youth. Through free-play mini-pitches, cultural programming, and mentorship opportunities, these efforts celebrate Indigenous heritage while inspiring the next generation of players.
School Backpacks
As part of this commitment, partners are supporting youth across the region by distributing soccer-themed backpacks and gear kits—encouraging play, confidence, and a sense of community through the joy of the game.
Street Soccer USA Pitch (Coming Soon)
SeattleFWC26 and Street Soccer USA will debut an inclusive, small-sided urban pitch that invites players of all ages and abilities to connect through sport. The project will serve as a year-round community asset and a symbol of the unifying spirit of the World Cup.
Together, these efforts showcase how SeattleFWC26 and its partners are growing the game across Washington—building a legacy of inclusion, innovation, and joy that will endure long after 2026.
Pride Match
The PMAC will guide SeattleFWC26 in planning and executing initiatives related to the Pride Match, taking place during Pride Weekend in June 2026. With hundreds of thousands of visitors and billions of viewers worldwide, this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment to showcase and celebrate LGBTQIA+ communities in Washington, while ensuring meaningful, lasting impacts for local businesses, arts, and organizations.
This Committee will provide:
- Provide strategic advice and validate community-informed priorities
- Curate Pride stories and economic opportunities for LGBTQIA+-owned enterprises
- Shape communications, community activations, and cultural programming
- Contribute to building a visible, inspiring legacy for generations to come
