These playfields are being built throughout Washington State, helping invest in not only the buildup to the FIFA World Cup 26 matches in Seattle, but ensuring all youth and the next generation of players have access to safe, quality, and sustainable fields. This initiative brings free playfields to communities that need it most, ensuring all youth and the next generation of players have access to, quality, sustainable small playfields.

Statement from Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Legacy Officer, Leo Flor on the RAVE Foundation’s announcement to build 26 more playfields by 2026:

“The commitment of the RAVE Foundation to double their "26 by 26" mini-pitch construction goal is a reflection not only of their outstanding engagement with communities across the region, but the excitement for the game itself. We know Seattle is a world-class soccer destination, with passionate fans and participants at every age, and every walk of life. Part of our pledge to leave a positive and lasting legacy for the FIFA World Cup matches in Seattle is investing in kids and community, and celebrating the diversity of our region. Working side by side with the RAVE Foundation only amplifies these efforts, and increases the visibility and enthusiasm for the 2026 games."
